Data retention & deletion

This page summarizes how long frugr keeps your data and how to request deletion. It supplements our Privacy policy and internal compliance documentation.

While your account is active

  • Bookkeeping records (transactions, invoices, clients, etc.) are kept for as long as you use the service.
  • Connected bank metadata and Plaid access tokens exist only while a bank connection is active. Tokens are encrypted at rest.

After you disconnect a bank

  • We revoke the Plaid access token immediately via Plaid’s API.
  • Previously imported transactions may remain in your ledger for bookkeeping continuity. Contact us if you want those removed.

After account closure

  • All Plaid tokens are revoked and bank connections removed.
  • Organization and user profile data are deleted within 30 days of closure.
  • Transaction and bookkeeping records are deleted within 30 days unless law requires longer retention.
  • Backups containing your data roll off within 30 days.

Logs

  • Application logs: approximately 90 days.
  • Security and audit logs: up to 1 year.

How to request deletion

Email privacy@hoagsmedia.com from the address on your account. Include your organization name and whether you want to delete a bank connection, specific data, or your entire account. We will confirm by email and complete deletion within the timeframes above.

Organization owners can disconnect banks under Bank connections and remove members under Members without contacting support.
